Jennie O’Reilly

New Contact Development Director

Jennie joined Steps in 2008 with a passion for creative communication & marketing. Fast forward a few years and having managed a range of client and network relationships across Steps’ territories, she now sits on the Global Board and UKE Senior Leadership Team as New Contact Development Director. As part of the global Business Development team Jennie shares responsibility for building strategic global connections and partnerships, with a particular focus on forging new connections within the UK and Europe. She creates inspiring content to further Steps’ Vision and reputation, and works closely with the Client Relationship Directors, Country Heads and extended teams in BD, Innovation and Media to co-ordinate, develop and implement targeted business development activity. A passionate advocate for Steps’ people-centric approach to behavioural change, Jennie often represents Steps as a speaker, writer and contributor.

A graduate of Cardiff University and a qualified affiliate of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Jennie works flexibly between London and Gloucestershire, where she lives with her young family. When not working she loves singing choral music, developing her (fledgling!) baking skills, exploring the great outdoors and escaping on camping trips...

About Jennie O’Reilly

Best holiday/holiday recommendation?

Kenya – we spent our honeymoon there and it is a feast for the senses and the soul. A beautiful country, with wonderfully warm people, fabulous food and the most incredible sights. I love Mary Poppins. It’s my Christmas indulgence. I have nothing more to say about that and I can’t really justify why I love it so much – I just do. I live in hope that someday I will find chimneysweeps dancing across the London rooftops and get the chance to join in...

Desert Island Item?

Marmite. Can’t be without it. I took a huge jar in my backpack when I went travelling and I had instant popularity whenever I brought it out at the breakfast table!
