The use of AI within L&D has recently crossed an inflexion point, with over half of L&D professionals now actively using it beyond the pilot stage.
On 10 June 2026, Steps is bringing together clients working in Learning & Development for an honest peer conversation on what AI is starting to mean for our field.
This will be a space to compare notes with fellow professionals, hear real experiences, and explore both the opportunities and the questions AI is raising for L&D.
About the session
AI is already changing how learning is designed, delivered and embedded. For some teams, it is opening up new possibilities. For others, it is creating pressure, uncertainty, or questions about what may be lost when the focus shifts so strongly towards AI.
In this session, we’ll create space for a practical and open exchange. We’ll look at what is working, what is still unclear, and what L&D professionals are noticing across their organisations.
The session will be chaired by Mark Shillabeer and Elisa Criado, Client Relationship Directors at Steps and you’ll hear from our clients – Deeksha Bhaskar, L&D Product Owner at Adyen and Masood Pagnier, L&D Program Manager at IMC Trading.
Come along for a chance to compare notes, hear real experiences, and explore what AI may mean for the future of L&D.
Register now to be part of this transformative journey towards better mental health in your workplace.
