Session Synopsis
Many organisations are grappling with maintaining high performance while supporting the wellbeing and resilience of their people. The challenge? Creating a high-performance culture that doesn’t come at the cost of your people.

In this interactive session, Steps will explore a people-centred approach to high performance, delving into what it means to lead with both results and empathy and balancing accountability with compassion.

Through our dynamic, experiential approach, Steps will bring workplace conversations to life— exploring the nuance between intent and impact and highlighting how to foster accountability without losing sight of the individual.
Together, we’ll unpack the skills and mindset needed to engage in honest, impactful conversations in ways that build trust, confidence, and culture, even when the answers aren’t clear.

 Objectives of the workshop are:

  • Understand how a human centric approach – balancing the needs of individuals and the business – drives high performance.
  • Recognise the balance between results-driven leadership and empathetic, compassionate management.
  • Challenge binary thinking and outdated notions that are barriers to growth/innovation.
  • Develop the skills and mindset for honest, potentially challenging conversations, that build trust and resilience.

This is an experiential workshop, demonstrating how the Steps to Change approach – See It, Own It, Change It Live works in practice.  We’ve never been talk and chalk, so why would we be speaker and slides?! As always with our work, discussion amongst participants is encouraged and key. If you’re interested in running for more delegates within your organisation, please do get in touch!
