Diversity and Equal Opportunities Policy
Steps Drama Learning Development is committed to valuing and promoting diversity. We continually strive to create an environment based on meritocracy and inclusiveness, where all employees can develop their full potential irrespective of race, gender, marital status, age, disability, religious belief, political opinion or sexual orientation.
Environmental and Sustainability Policy
Protection of the environment in which we live and operate is part of Steps' Values and Principles and we consider it to be sound business practice. Care for the environment is one of our key responsibilities and an important part of the way in which we do business.
As an organisation, we have analysed our impact on the environment, which we believe in most instances is minimal, given the nature of our work. However we have striven to identify and address those areas where we can make a difference, and have created a policy and practical guidelines to ensure that sustainability remains a key priority.
Quality Assurance Policy
At Steps, we are very proud of the calibre of our delivery staff and the work we create for clients. At all times we strive to ensure that our services are of an exceptionally high quality and that our output is synonymous with the standards associated with our name and reputation.
We have created a detailed Quality Assurance Policy and a set of working procedures as a measure of our effectiveness and a commitment to continuous improvement across all our services.
Health & Safety Policy
Steps is committed to the health, safety and wellbeing of all staff and clients when they are engaged on Steps business. Whether on or offsite, we have a robust Health & Safety Policy and Handbook, which covers emergency procedures, risk assessments of our principle activities and environments, and guidelines for staff governing general Health & Safety practice in the workplace.
Our Mission Statement and Policies are also supported by the Steps Charter, a document created by all staff which outlines our values, principles and commitments with regard to working effectively together. Every staff member is given copies of our policies, charter and mission statement and through regular communication we ensure that all staff are aware of, and demonstrate throughout their work, the Steps values. All staff members are encouraged to be involved in the review and continous improvement of these commitments.
